Banshee

The Banshee


The Banshee is a spectral spirit that usually exists in the woods of Terinta. Their appearance looks that of a corpse with gray almost rotting skin, sunken eyes and no lips which exposes their mangled teeth. They float over the ground and usually have long flowing white or gray hair. They are believed to be harbingers of death because of their appearance. The Banshee is in fact not alive or dead, they are somewhere in-between. While they can be dangerous most Banshees are reclusive and prefer to be left alone. The Banshee has the ability to see the deaths of others. While they are the same thing, male Banshees are known as revenants.
