Yggdrasil, the Great Tree

Image
Yggdrasil Yggdrasil: The great world tree has many names and meanings.  It is the thing that connects everything together. Yggdrasil is connected to Paradox and the Origin Web. Paradox and the Origin Web are at the center of the tree and are connected to all the worlds and realities. Yggdrasil has many other names, the ancient Norse learned of Yggdrasil and called it thus. Other names that it is called are, the continuing web, the cosmic curtain, branches of reality, eternities’ cradle, the paths of continuation, Ventureion, Oacnor’lem, Tree of life, Tree of reality, river’s soul, lasting branches, Ail’lee, creation, and many, many others… Each branch and twig and leaf is its own universe with its own worlds and realms. Some are similar to other branches or worlds, while others are wildly different. It is all connected however, to the trunk of the tree, which is called the primary. Like many things Yggdrasil has light and dark sides. Earth, Terinta, the matrix, all the wor...

The K'arey

K'arey The K’arey (pronounced K’are’e): (Before the Kry became Kry and gained great power and wisdom. They started out very similar to humans, not in appearance but in their actions and beliefs. They were named K’arey by the gods to both punish and teach the race on how to become like the gods are. Because it was so long ago, no one knows what the K’arey looked like before they became Kry. It is reasonable to conclude that they didn’t look anything like a human, but whatever there form was before they became Kry is a mystery only known by the Kry and the gods. The name K’arey means wretched and lowly, they basically cursed themselves because of their belief and attitude to other beings that also lived on Paradox. The K’arey were much like humans in there ingenuity and curious nature. While as K’arey they grew into a powerful race and explored the stars. While doing so the K’arey grew extremely technologically advanced and they created many powerful devises and spaceships. The Kr...

Paradox

Paradox Paradox: The home world of the Kry is named Paradox, but only in English. The reason why it’s named Paradox is because it is shrouded in mystery and riddles that twist and turn understanding. Paradox also is known as the ultimate test for other races. If a race can learn to find a way to get to Paradox then they have truly become a good and wholesome people. Not many have found their way to Paradox, but some have and they became amazing. The planet is made of pure penetrating light, and holds all other universes together. Long energy threads extend out from the world and connect to everything. On the planet Earth the Norse learned a bit of Paradox and called it the Tree of the Worlds or Yggdrasil, because it connected everything together. Paradox’s surface is beautiful, it has forests of bright green and trees of every kind, high mountains that are as majestic as they are tall, and water that covers it with bright blue. While the world is a glorified planet, it still has w...

The Seven Kry.

Image
The Seven Kry The Kry are powerful, and their ways are obscured in mystery and speculation. Yet there is one thing that all beings who know of the Kry know about. There are Seven Kry that are seen as very important to the Kry. To say that they stand above the other Kry would not be correct. While all of the Seven are very powerful, the reason why they are known as the Seven Kry is based on how the other Kry and Gods view them. No one, who is not Kry, knows what makes the Seven so important and respected, but everyone knows that the respect is well deserved. The Seven Kry represent certain aspects or ideas that hold the universe together. They are named as follows. Lormin, the Kry of light, first of the seven. Nocktis, the Kry of night or dark, second of the seven. Ernesha, the Kry of willpower, third of the seven. Imon, the Kry of faith, forth of the seven. Galaxin, the Kry of space, fifth of the seven. Algi, the Kry of time, sixth of the seven. The seventh Kry is the Kry of n...

Story 1: Recovery: Part 3

Part 3 Orin sat cross legged with his hands resting comfortably on his lap. His eyes were closed and he sat very still. He could feel the sun warming his skin, and he could hear the steady thump from his heart as he calmly breathed in and out. Orin focused on his emotion, he let nothing be censored, he allowed everything that he was feeling exist somewhere in his mind. Meanwhile he was aware of Feaira slowly walking around him as he meditated. He could feel her curious gaze on him, the young girl had questions that she wanted to ask. As he readied himself for Feaira’s questions Orin also kept a peaceful yet concerned notice of the apple that rested on top of his head. It was a basic werewolf meditation technique. The goal is to allow ones emotions to flow through the body, while also having a form of self-control. Even if the apple falls the meditation isn’t over. If it falls one must process any emotion they feel about letting the apple drop. Orin had practiced this technique w...

The Four Races: Part 4, The Kry.

The Kry Before there was Terinta, before this very universe existed. The gods created a world, the First World. What eventually arose from this planet was a race of beings that were powerful and great. Like the gods they had immortality, they understood much more than any mortal could, and they are nearly omniscient and omnipotent. They are the greatest of the four races, and the most influential. Their very presence can radiate with power and energy, and they are the watchers of all creation. They are the Kry!    The Kry are by definition ultimate beings of power and wisdom. Few things are higher than the Kry. They are superior in everything, and know almost all things. Their beginnings are steeped in mystery. The Kry are the most mysterious race known, not just to Terinta but the whole of creation. Some worlds see them as dark evil beings, while others see the Kry as entities of light and joy. On Terinta the feelings can go either way, some see them as evil, whi...

The Four Races: Part 3

The Phoenix Phoenixes are the second most mysterious race on Terinta. They are best known for being born out of fire or volcanoes, and for being giant flaming birds. However this is just the tip of what a phoenix really is. What is most unknown about them is that they are actually shapeshifters. They can take the form of anyone, and like to do so when they meet new beings. Phoenixes are masters at mind reading, and so as such they like to take the form of family and friends they read in other’s minds. Despite this bizarre invasion of privacy, phoenixes are very kind and understanding beings. They were the ones who helped the fire dragon’s master their scorching breath, and they helped humans by teaching them how to build and grow as a race. They were seen as angels of mercy and peace to many, and their story of rebirth has influenced and inspired all who know them. Phoenixes mostly live in seclusion, and are complete pacifists. While they can fight, it is almost unheard of. The p...
